HELMET SIZE GUIDE

Use this guide to find your correct helmet size. Always measure your head before choosing a size and remember: each brand can fit slightly differently, so this chart is a general reference.

How to Measure Your Head

  1. Use a soft measuring tape: or a string that you can later measure with a ruler.
  2. Measure around your head: place the tape about 2 cm (1 in) above your eyebrows, going around the widest part of the back of your head.
  3. Keep it level: make sure the tape is straight and not tilted up or down.
  4. Read the measurement: note the result in centimeters (cm). If you are between two sizes, choose the larger one.
  5. Check brand charts: different brands (Scorpion, HJC, MT, etc.) may feel slightly tighter or looser, even with the same size.

This chart is a general reference. For the best fit, always try the helmet on and make sure it feels snug but not painful.

Fit Check & Safety Tips

  • Snug, not painful: the helmet should feel tight all around your head, without pressure points that hurt.
  • No movement: when you move your head, the helmet should move with it. It should not rotate or slide easily.
  • Cheek pads: they should press firmly against your cheeks. Over time they will break in and feel looser.
  • Chin strap: always fasten it. You should be able to fit only two fingers between the strap and your chin.
  • Replace after impact: if your helmet suffers a significant impact, replace it even if you don’t see external damage.
